How far along? 23 weeks

Baby G is the size of a Grapefruit!

Due Date: March 5^th 2014

Total weight gain/loss: 139  + 18lbs

Maternity clothes? H&M Jeans, Belly Band & Maternity T-shirts

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Sleep well at night

Best moment this week: Tiling began in the bathroom!  I had a sinus cold this past week so not much exciting!

Have you told family and friends: YES

Miss Anything? Wine & Sushi (the real stuff with smoked salmon & raw tuna!)

Movement: Yes, more and more!

Food cravings: Nothing really

Anything making you queasy or sick: No

Have you started to show yet: Oh yes!

Gender prediction: Boy

Labour Signs: No

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy…feel more pregnant now that I actually look pregnant

Weekly Wisdom: Take my vitamins!!! I just started to see a naturopath as Shawn doesn’t want the baby being exposed to the flu shot and go figure I start coming down with a cold that night. Luckily I followed everything she suggested and aside from vitamins and saline nasal rinses and sprays I didn’t need to take anything over the counter. Lemon and Ginger were my best friends!

Looking forward to: Prenatal Yoga being back in action! Bathroom Progress. Celebrating my cousins wedding. Seeing Baby again at the Ultra sound!  Not looking forward to finishing the registry! Apparently I am really picky and stores don’t have stock of the things I want!

Dear Diary: Week 22!

Wednesday October 30th 2013

How far along? 22 weeks

Baby G is the size of a Papayaa

Due Date: March 5^th 2014

Total weight gain/loss: 138 + 17lbs

Maternity clothes? H&M Jeans, Belly Band & Maternity T-shirts

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Sleeping good at night, a nap every once and while in the day.

Best moment this week: Shawn first got to stay home an extra day on the weekend & while he was home he got to feel baby move/kick a few times. And he picked up the stroller! It is now fully assembled and ready to rock! Lola wanted nothing to do with testing it out!

Have you told family and friends: YES

Miss Anything? Sushi, wine, eating Halloween candy without having heart burn!

Movement: Yes...lots of movement… slowly, slowly, slowly getting used to it.

Food cravings: Tots…Tarter tots…randomly at night… when I get a craving I don’t need it right then but won’t stop thinking about it until I have had it… this case it was three days later and it was a Hashbrown from but it worked an fulfilled my craving!

Anything making you queasy or sick: No

Have you started to show yet: Yes… I feel like I doubled in size this past week.

Gender prediction: Boy ? Girl? Who knows… I’ll start testing some gender prediction old wives tales

Labour Signs: No

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, unless it’s one of those funks about Shawn being away.

Weekly Wisdom: Not really wisdom… but we will have another ultra sound. I have a low lying placenta (OB says no concerns) and because the baby was stubborn and upside down the majority of the last ultrasound they couldn’t see the whole heart. So I go for that in few more weeks.

Looking forward to: Shawn being home for good! He’s no longer living in a hotel and maybe some renovation progress /completion will take place!

Total weight gain/loss: 137 +16 lbs

Maternity clothes? H&M Jeans, Belly Band & Maternity T-shirts

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Great…I have become quite a bed hog with Shawn working out of town

Best moment this week: Had a visit with a dear friend visiting from California... I love our little visits when she comes to town. Also had little post yoga dinner with a few other mom's to be after our last class of the session... Lemonades all around!

Have you told family and friends: YES

Miss Anything? Sushi, deli meat, wine

Movement: Yes, lots, starting to feel less alien like, I guess I am getting more used to it.

Food cravings: Nothing this week!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope

Have you started to show yet: Yes…looks more like a belly…I know I have said that before.

Gender prediction: Boy ? Girl? Who knows! No one has really said girl yet...

Weekly Wisdom: Stop reading about labour & delivery! Too much free time on my hands with Shawn being away!

Dear Diary: Week 20!!! (Pregnancy Hump Day!)

How far along? 20 weeks

Baby G is the size of a Banana

Due Date: March 5^th 2014

Total weight gain/loss: 135 +14 lbs

Maternity clothes? H&M Jeans, Belly Band & Maternity T-shirts… I need to go shopping! I did pick up a winter coat from someone! Since I will be pregnant the WHOLE winter I could of justified buying one but thought I would give this one a try first. It's basic black and has a belt. Nothing fancy and looks warm enough!

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Sleep well, usually up some time between 2-4 and I now snore like crazy!!

Best moment this week: We had our 20 week Anatomy ultrasound today! Also it was the first time Shawn came and he got to see the baby moving around and it’s heart beating.

Pregnancy Hump Day! 20 weeks!

Have you told family and friends: YES

Miss Anything? Sushi..good sushi with smoked and raw fish

Movement: YES! For the past few weeks I was wishing and hoping for more movement…I would even try shaking my belly to get baby to move. This week I have been feeling it much more and honestly it’s kind of a creepy feeling for me right now.

Food cravings: I really wanted a brownie and Hot Chocolate one day…never did anything about it, but now that I think of it again it sounds AMAZING!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not sick, but brushing my teeth and using my Saline Nasal Spray make me gag. (My gag reflex has become more sensitive ?!)

Have you started to show yet: Yes

Gender prediction: Boy / Girl who knows… We DIDN’T find out at our ultra sound!

Labour Signs: No

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy

Weekly Wisdom: Chocolate (sugar) gives me heart burn… probably a good thing I didn’t go for that brownie and Hot Chocolate!

Looking forward to: Buying new maternity pants & Shawn bringing home my new wheels!! (Our Stroller was delivered today, Shawn will pick it up at Detroit Mailbox! <- Great service… I love it!)

Thanksgiving in Port: Went to a local winery where they had this bib. Baby takes after Mom...Loves a glass of white.
They also had an entire wall of Non Alcoholic Sparkling Juices...Momma to Be was in Heaven!

Thanksgiving in Port: Enjoyed a Thanksgiving Dinner on the Beach!
